35mm film wedding photography, Andalucia // M&A
It’s just another world to photograph with film, the vibe, the emotions, the grain and nostalgia. I love it all. Film is such a perfect add on in the wedding days! Wedding photography in 35mm film is my love language. This beautiful wedding near Malaga was photographed with Kodak Portra 160 and it just really captures the emotions and the story of the day in a totally different and nostalgic way. I love documentary style wedding photograph and the 35mm film added is just magic! As a destination wedding photographer I take my film cameras where ever I go and love to capture the beautiful wedding days with analogic film photography. And what an amazing day for it in the wedding of M&A! We found this perfect pier and an empty beach to capture the first minutes of the couple being married. It was just such a lovely moment of their wedding day to spent a little time just the two of them and was amazing to capture these emotions on film.
I started film photography around 3 years ago when I moved to spain. And I fell in love. It was such fun journey testing different cameras and film stocks with different light and black and white with all the shadows and sun rays. I took my film cameras always with me to my holidays and them started snapping film photos in almost all of my photoshoots too! I own a Canon AE for the slow moments and moody portraits, I have a Canon EOS 500n for my wedding portraits and a fun little Konica 150z up for cute wedding reception photos and I take it to my own holidays as well. For this wedding in Rota, Cádiz I chose to use Portra 160 as my film stock for the sunny portraits in the mid day sun and my camera was my trusted Canon EOS 500n. I love the colours that it produces and the beautiful grain that it creates.
