The wedding of these two was everything I adore about destination weddings in Southern Spain—laid-back, full of emotion, and beautifully unpolished in the most intentional way. Nestled in the hills just outside of Nerja, the venue looked like something out of a Mediterranean dream mixed with Italian and French charm, with wild olive trees, whitewashed walls, and views that stretch all the way to the sea.

Vic is originally from the UK and Abby from Australia, but they now call Australia home. They flew all the way to Spain—right in the middle of their winter—to celebrate their love surrounded by sunshine, summer air, and their favourite people. And honestly? The warmth of the day wasn’t just the temperature. It was felt in every hug, every look, every laugh that echoed through the mountains.

From the first moments of the morning, you could tell this was going to be something special. Getting ready at the villa was so relaxed and fun. The camera started clicking from the start, and I knew we were documenting something timeless. Vic and Abby are one of those couples who just click. They’re playful, kind, deeply connected, and genuinely love being around each other. Following them throughout the day with our cameras was such a joy. Whether they were sipping an aperol spritz or spinning around during golden hour with the hills of Frigiliana behind them, there was something so effortless about the way they moved through the day together.

Their ceremony, set in the gardens of Villa Finca Parilla, was deeply emotional. The vows were completely heartfelt—tears, laughter, the whole lot.
